IFBOA Members Receive Free Training

October 17, 2013

The Independent Fixed Base Operators Association (IFBOA), in concert with its training partner Aviation Continuing Education (ACE), is offering free HAZCOM-GHS to its members. The training is required by OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (29 CFR 1910.1200) on or before December 1, 2013. The training takes approximately one hour.

"This is another benefit of membership to reduce costs and keep current with mandatory training" says John Wraga, Executive Director. According to Jay Shanley, President of ACE, "This international program establishes harmonized definitions of hazards for physical, health and environmental protocols for the global market and educates employees to the new method of identification of chemical hazards, chemical labeling, and safety data sheets".

Simply go to the IFBOA website, click on Training, create an account and search for GHS and enroll in the course. Before proceeding, make sure you are viewing on either Internet Explorer or Google Chrome web browser.
