IFBOA Founding Member Wins BED/ORH FBO Bid

January 19, 2012

The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) announced that Rectrix Aviation was selected to build and operate full service FBO facilities on L.G. Hanscom Field (BED) and Worcester Regional Airport (ORH). "I took great interest in the RFP process for Worcester and Bedford because Rectrix was not only a member, but the most qualified candidate" said John Wraga, Executive Director of the IFBOA. Wraga continues "In addition, Bedford is the home base for the IFBOA and already has two chain FBO's on the airport. Both airports will benefit from improved service for its users." Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray, quoted in the Massport press release, said "Massachusetts public airports generate significant economic activity for all regions of the Commonwealth. By partnering with Rectrix Aviation, the Commonwealth will enhance services for two of the states growing regional airports." Rectrix Aviation currently operates FBO's in Hyannis, Massachusetts and Sarasota, Florida.
